Bahra College of Law & Bahra Institute of Pharmacy jointly celebrated teej festival on 16 August, 2024. The event was marked by vibrant cultural performances, enthusiastic participation, and a deep sense of community among students, faculty, and staff.The celebrations were graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Namarta Vadhera and Dr. Kiran Kumari, both Assistant Professors in the Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology at Punjabi University, Patiala. Their participation as chief guests added academic and cultural significance to the event. There were various events like Mehndi Competition, solo dance competition, group dance competition & Miss Teej competition.In addition to the student-focused events, faculty members also joined in the fun with a range of activities. A solo singing competition brought out hidden talents, while a spirited game of dumb charades provided much laughter. The innovative waste-to-art competition encouraged creativity and environmental consciousness among the faculty.The event was further honored by the presence of Dr. Sanjiv Singh, Campus Director of SBLC Society, Sardar Pritam Singh Johal, Patron of the institution, and Ms. Rajinder Kaur, Principal of BGS. Their support and encouragement were highly appreciated by all attendees. The entire campus was beautifully decorated, reflecting the festive mood and the significance of the occasion. The event was meticulously coordinated by Ms. Baljinder Kaur, Vice Principal of BCL, and Ms. Kalindi Madaan, Head of the Department at BIP, along with their dedicated faculty members and the diligent housekeeping staff. Their efforts ensured the smooth execution of the event, making it a memorable day for everyone involved.The Teej Festival at Bahra College of Law and Bahra Institute of Pharmacy was not only a celebration of cultural heritage but also a testament to the strong community spirit within the institutions.
